F.A.M. 640 TOURNAMENT RULES

1. ALL GAMES 14u & up will be two 14 minute stop time halves. EACH TEAM SHOULD BE AT THEIR GAME 20 minutes ahead of time schedule, if games end early, we reserve the right to start the games within 15 minutes of their start times.

2. Each team gets 3 timeouts per game (2 full, 1-30 second), and an additional timeout per OT period. Timeouts will carry over into overtime.

3. When a team is leading by 20 or more points, the clock will continue to run until the deficit is reduced to 15 points in the stop time games.

4. Free throws (1-1) will be shot on the 10th foul of the half. All Free throws will be 2 shots on the 12th foul.

5. 2-minute warm up period before the game and 2-minute halftime.

6. On Technical Fouls the team will be awarded two free throws. Any coach or player receiving two technical fouls will be ejected from the game and out for the following game.

 

7. Overtime will be 2 minutes with 1 minute stop time  After 2 overtimes teams will go into sudden death except in Championship games.

Players will be disqualified once they have committed their 6th foul.

8. Boys will have a 10-second back court violation.

9. All boys 13U and older will use a 29.5 ball. 

10. Pressing is allowed unless margin is 20 points for all divisions. 

11. When determining the team who advance to playoffs: In a 2 team tie use head to head results. In a 3 team tie or if tied teams didn’t play each other use point differential (all games will be included and maximum point differential for each game is 20 points). If there is a 2 team tie after point differential look at head to head.

12. Players are only allowed to play on one team; however, a player may also play on one additional team as long it is ABOVE their age group and WITHIN their program.

13. Formal complaints and protests must be submitted in writing to torsonfullard@gmail.com

 

14. F.A.M. expects all players, coaches, parents, spectators, and staff to act in an appropriate manner. If a situation arises F.A.M. staff may remove a person from the site.

15. Coaches are required to wear their coach’s credentials in order to enter the gym, see ticket person at each site for coach’s badges. In all other situations, NYS High School rules will be applied.

16. TEAMS MUST PROVIDE A SCOREKEEPER OR SCOREBOOK FOR EACH GAME.  HOME TEAM WILL PROVIDE CLOCK KEEPER AND AWAY TEAM WILL KEEP SCOREBOOK. 

F.A.M. 640 TOURNAMENT POLICY

By participating in any F.A.M. 640 tournament, all players, coaches, spectators, and affiliates agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to ensure a fair, safe, and organized event while protecting F.A.M. 640, Coach Fullard, affiliates, and third parties from liability.

Liability Waiver

All participants and attendees assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, loss, or damage related to their participation in the tournament. F.A.M. 640, Coach Fullard, affiliates, and third parties will not be held liable for injuries, lost or stolen property, or other damages incurred before, during, or after the event.

Code of Conduct

All players, coaches, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves with respect and sportsmanship. Any form of misconduct, including but not limited to violence, verbal abuse, harassment, or unsportsmanlike behavior, may result in removal from the tournament without a refund.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless the tournament is canceled by F.A.M. 640. In the event of a tournament cancellation, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to apply their payment to a future event.

Tournament Rules & Regulations

All teams and players must adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by F.A.M. 640. Any violations, including eligibility disputes or failure to comply with referee decisions, may result in penalties, disqualification, or removal from the event.

Media Release

By participating in or attending a F.A.M. 640 tournament, all individuals grant F.A.M. 640 the right to capture, use, and distribute photographs, videos, or other media content for promotional and commercial purposes without compensation.

Event Modifications

F.A.M. 640 reserves the right to modify the tournament schedule, rules, venue, or format as needed due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, venue availability, or safety concerns.
